This Tutorial was written By Me August
16, 2004. Any Similarities are purely coincidental. Many
of my friends have asked me to write this tutorial so I
am writing for your learning pleasure. It is rated as a
beginners tutorial so any one should be able to complete
it. I would love to see your end results!

Materials Needed JASC PSP 8.10 Mask I used
Here Doll I used
Here Accent I used
Here Font of Your Choice

Lets Get Started
1. Unzip your mask and
install to your masks folder, I put mine in C:\Documents
and Settings\Angel Wolf\My Documents\My PSP8 Files\Masks
2. Open Your Doll and
Accent in PSP and set aside for now, you will use them
in a little while.
3. Go to File/New and
make a canvas size approximately 400x400 transparent.
4. Now choose 2 colors
from your tube. This is the first set of colors that you
will be using. The ones I have chosen are #C40C67
(foreground) and #FDE7EB (background)
5. Set Your foreground
color palette to linear gradient with the following
settings

6. Now flood fill your
new image with your gradient
7. Go to
Layers/Load-Save Mask and choose Mask006.
8. Go To Layers and
click Delete, when the box pops up asking if you want to
merge your layer to the one below click yes. It should
look like mine below.

9. Now you want to
choose 2 lighter colors on your color palette, keeping
your gradient selected because you will use it with your
new colors. These are what I chose, #F09CAA (foreground)
and #FFFFFF (background)
10. Now Add a New
Raster Layer and flood fill this with your gradient.
11. Again go to
Layers/Load-Save from disk and choose mask 006.
12. Layers / Delete and
when the box pops up asking you to merge the layer to
the one below it click yes.
13. Now Go To
Image/Resize and resize this layer to 70%, all layers
UNCHECKED
14. Image/Rotate and
rotate free at angle 45. You should now have your image
look like this:

15. Now go to
Layers-Ungroup. Layers Merge Flatten (this is only if
you want a white background). I wanted mine to have the
same background as my tutorial so I did the following.
16. (only follow this
part if you do NOT want a white background) Add a New
Layer, now go to layers, arrange and send to bottom. Now
choose a pattern or color that you want behind your tag
and fill the very bottom layer with your pattern or
color.
17. Now we want to
resize it just a bit (this is only if you are using the
doll tube). Go to Image/Resize and resize 85% with all
layers checked.
17. With this all done
we are now going to add our tubes to get it prettied up.
Go to your Doll image (or tube you have chosen) right
click on the very top bar and choose copy.
18. Go back to your
masked image and right click on the very top and choose
Paste/As New Layer. You may have to resize your doll or
tube you chose. I resized mine by 80%.
19. Add a drop shadow
to her with the following setting

20. Now we want to add
our hearts. Go to your hearts image and go to the very
top of it and right click and choose copy. Now back to
your Masked image and right click on the top and choose
paste as a new image (if it is on top of your doll tube
you need to move it down), so go to layers arrange and
Move down then with your mover tool place it where you
like it .
21. Now Go To
Image-3D/Drop Shadow and give it a drop shadow using
these settings:

21. Now go to
Layers/Merge-Flatten. Your Tag is now ready for you to
put your name on, Add a new raster layer and change your
color palette to a new foreground color-solid and your
background to a new color solid (we are done using the
gradient). I used these colors: #BB2545 (foreground) and
#FDE1E1 (background)
22. Choose your text
tool with your favorite font and have it set like mine
and add your name, and add a drop shadow using the same
settings as in step 21.

23. Your tag is now complete. Again I
would love to see what you have created. If you have any
trouble with this tutorial please do not hesitate to
contact me and I will help you with what you are having
a problem with. I do hope that you have enjoyed this
tutorial.
