Remember To Save Often!!

Lets Prepare The Image For Framing
1. Open a new image 500x500 transparent. Choose 2
colors from your tube. foreground #edeff8 (you
will have to choose different colors if you are
using a different tube) and a dark color for the
background #6e7f9c.
2. Flood fill your image with your foreground
color #edeff8, Effects-plugins-Filters Unlimited
2-Paper texture 1-Japanese, Intensity=35,
lightness=130. If you are using a different tube
you can colorize the supplied tile. Name this
layer Background.
3. Open the rose bouquet tube and copy it. Go back
to your working image and paste as a new layer
then lower the opacity to 40 on the layer palette.
Name this layer rose bouquet.
4. Open the childandunicorn tube and copy it. Go
back to your working image and paste as a new
layer. Effects-3D-Drop Shadow= Vertical=5,
Horizontal=5, Opacity=50, Blur =15.00 Color
#72839f (different if using your own tube file).
Name this layer unicorn.
5. Open dbaw_goldoval1 and copy it. Go back to
your working image and paste it as a new
layer. Effects-3D-Drop Shadow= Vertical=3,
Horizontal=3, Opacity=100, Blur=5.00 color
#72839f. Name this layer inside oval.
6. Open dbaw_gold oval2 and copy it. Back on your
working image paste as a new layer. Apply the same
drop shadow as in Step #5. Name this layer outer
oval.
7. Open dbaw_blueroses or other tube to accent the
gold ovals and copy the image, back on your
working layer paste as a new layer and move it to
the top center of the gold ovals. No need for a
drop shadow as this image already has it saved
when I saved the roses. Name this layer roses top
8. On your layer palette duplicate the blue roses
then go to Image-flip. Name this layer roses
bottom.
9. Now go to your unicorn layer and drag it
between the inner oval and the outer oval layers
and move it down using your mover tool to where
the wings are just over top of the inner oval. See
My Image Below.

10. Final step of preparing your image.
Layers-Merge-Merge All- Flatten. Selections-Select
All-Modify-Contract by 30. Image-Crop to
selection.
Now lets move onto the framing of the image now
that it is ready!
11. Image- Add border of 2 pixels-symmetric- Color
white. Select with your magic wand and fill with
the dbaw_gold fill. (You need to change your
foreground to pattern and choose the dbaw_gold
fill pattern). Selections-select all,
Selections-invert. Effects-3D-Cutout using the
below settings. Repeat the cutout changing the
vertical and horizontal to -4.

12. Image add border of 15 color #557fa2 (or your
chosen dark color.) Effects-Plugins-FF Gallery
E-Metal Peacocks, with the below settings or one
to your liking.

13. Effects 3-D-Inner Bevel using the below
settings: CTL+D to deselect.

14. Image add border of 2 pixels, select with the
magic wand and flood fill with the dbaw_gold fill.
Select None.
15. Image add border of 7 pixels, color #a5bccf,
select with your magic wand.
Effects-texture-Mosaic glass with the below
settings and keep selected.

16. Adjust-Add/Remove noise and choose the below
settings. Select None

17. Image- Add border of 2 pixels, color black and
select with your magic wand. flood fill with the
dbaw_gold fill. Select None.
18. Image add border of 10 pixels color #557fa2,
select with the magic wand. Effect FF gallery
E-Metal Peacocks, same settings as in step 12.
Image Mirror and keep selected.
19. Image-Effect-3D-Inner Bevel and apply the same
settings as in step 13. Select None.
20. Image add border of 2 pixels, select with the
magic wand and flood fill with the dbaw_gold fill.
Select None.
21. Image add border of 20 pixels color #edeff8,
select with the magic wand. Effects-Texture-Blinds
and apply the below settings. Keep Selected.

22. Effects 3D-Inner Bevel applying the below
settings, then select None

23. Image Add border of 2 pixels color black.
Select with the magic wand and flood fill with the
dbaw_goldfill. Select None. Image Resize by about
80% or to your liking.
24. Open the bkd_cornerelement-blue and copy it.
Back on your working image Paste as a new layer
and using your mover tool plasce it in the upper
left corner of your newly framed image (no need to
add a drop shadow). On your layer palette,
duplicate the corner then image-mirror, duplicate
that copy image-flip and duplicate that copy,
image mirror. Layers-Merge All Flatten.
I do hope that you have enjoyed doing this
tutorial.

Here is another Frame using
different images and embellishments. The outer
frame in which I used the blinds effects is
different due to the resizing of the finished
image.
