This tutorial is for those that have a working
knowledge of PSP and was created using PSP version 9 however it may
be created in other versions as well.
Tube used in this example is
from the wonderful artist ©Jose A Cano which you must retain a license in order to use
that can be purchased Here.
Materials Used
Scrap Kit by
Krissy's Scraps called "Look of Love" Which is a paid kit and
can be purchased from
Exquisite
Scraps
Tina's Magical
World Template 13

No outside filters used

1. Open TMW template 8.
Shift+D (duplicate). Close original template. Delete the
following layers: credit, heart, rectangle above, rectangle below,
small frames,
small squares. Highlight half circle 2, layers merge, merge down.
2. Image, resize 80%-all layers checked. Image-canvas size 650x650.
Highlight the
bottome layer and flood fill with white.
3. Highlight the mask layer. Ctl+A, Ctl+F, Ctl+Shift+F (doing this
shortcut selects
the mask, floats then defloats it). Open KSLOLPaper2. Copy and paste
as a new layer
onto your tag/template image. Ctl+Shift+I (Inverts selection) and
press your delete
key. Deselect. Delete the original mask layer.
4. Highlight the Half Circle 1 layer (should be both half circle
layers merged
together-done in step 1). Ctl+A, Ctl+F, Ctl+Shift+F, Selections-mofify-expand
1
pixel, Add new raster layer, Flood fill with color #5DO729.
Selections-modify-contract 2 pixels then press the delete key, keep
selected.
5. Hilight the Half Circle 1 layer again. Open KSLOLPaper6. Resize
60%. Copy and
paste as a new layer onto your tag/template image. Ctl+Shift+I then
press your
delete key and deselect. Delete original half circle 1 layer.
6. Highlight Raster 2 layer. Layers-merge-merge down. Apply your
favorite drop
shadow using both positive and negative numbers.
7. Highlight the outer rectangle layer Ctl+A, Ctl+F, Ctl+Shift+F.
Open
KSLOLParchmentScroll. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your
tag/template image.
Ctl+Shift+I then press your delete key and deselect. Delete the
original outer
rectangle layer.
8. Highlight the frame layer. Ctl+A, Ctl+F, Ctl+Shift+F. Add a new
raster layer,
then flood fill with color #5DO729. Deselect and delete the original
frame layer.
Highlight Raster 4 (top frame layer) and apply your favorite drop
shadow.
9. Keep Raster 4 layer highlighted. Open KSLOLRoseFrame1, resize 55%
all layers
unchecked-sharpen. Image-rotate-15% to the right.
10. Choose your magic wand tool and click inside of the rose frame.
Selections-modify-expand 5 pixels. Highlight raster layer 4 then Open
KSLOLPaper10,
resize 50%. copy and paste as a new layer onto your tag/template
image. Selections
invert and press your delete key. Deselect. Highlight raster 5
layere then, layers
merge, merge down. Apply your favorite drop shadow.
11.Open KSLOLElegantWrap2, resize 35%-sharpen. Place on the lower
part of the rose
frame as in my tag. Apply your favorite drop shadow.
12. Highlight the top layer. Open KSLOLExoticBloom1, resize
80%-sharpen. Copy and
paste as a new layer onto your tag/template image. Image
rotate-right-90% and move
to the left center of your tag. Move this layer down below Raster 3
layer then
apply your favorite drop shadow. Duplicate this layer, image mirror.
Layers-merge-merge down.
13. Highlight the top layer again and open KSLOLBlossom2. Resize
50%. Copy and
paste as a new layer onto your tag/template image and arrange to the
lower left of
your tag (see my tag for placement). Move this flower layer down
below Raster 3
Layer (below the half circles but above the mask layer. Apply your
favorite drop
shadow. Duplicate-image-mirror, Duplicate-image-flip,
Duplicate-image-mirror.
Layers-merge down 3 times.
14. Highlight the top layer again and open KISLOLBlossom3. Resize
45%-sharpen.
Copy and paste as a new layer onto your tag/template image and
arrange in the lower
left between the two flowers. Move this layer down to below Raster 3
layer. Apply
your favorite drop shadow. Duplicate-image-mirror,
Duplicate-image-flip,
Duplicate-image-mirror. Layers-merge down 3 times.
15. Highlight the top layer and open KSLOLKey1. Resize 50%-sharpen.
Copy and paste
as a new layer onto your tag/template image. Image-rotate-free 15%
to the right and
place it in the upper right of your tag (see my tag for placement).
Apply your
favorite drop shadow.
16. Hightlight Raster 6 layer. Open tube of choice and resize asx
needed. Copy and
paste as a new layer onto your tag/template image. If there is part
of your tube
sticking out from below the ribbon wrap, take your free hand
tool-point to point
and select around the excess then press your delete key to remove
it. Once happy
apply your favorite drop shadow.
17. Highlight the top layer and open KSLOLDeco1-Love. Resize
50%-sharpen. Copy and
paste as a new layer onto your tag/template image and place it over
the right hand
side of the ribbon wrap (see my tag for placement). Apply your
favorite drop
shadow.
18. Highlight the top layer and open KSLOLGlitteredButterfly1.
Resize 35%-sharpen
twice. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your tag/template image
and place it onto
the left side of your ribbon wrap. Apply your favorite drop shadow.
19. Highlight the top layer and open KSLOLGlitteredButterfly2.
Image-mirror-resize
40%-sharpen twice and place in the center right side of your
tag/template image.
Apply your favorite drop shadow.
20. Hide your white background layer. Highlight any other active
layer then
merge-merge visible. Resize-all layers unchecked 90%. Sharpen then
using your mover
tool move the tag image up some to allow for space for your name.
21. Add your © and your name and then merge as your favorite image
format.23. Add your name and
copyright information and then merge all layers together. I save my
tags as a png with a transparent background so I merge them visible
then export as a png. Save your tag however you wish.
